Family meetups!!
Posted Oct 16, 2000
Had the misfortune this weekend to go up to sunny Wigan to a reception for my brothers wedding which was in Vegas last week.
The main problem with these "Do's" is that my family expects me to do both of the following:
1) Not drink
2) Perform like a trained seal with my wacky sense of fun
Fair enough my brother and sister, good laugh, the rest...not so sure.
Anyway I got rather sozzled anyway to the annoyence of the Niz clan.
So the black sheep of the family I remain.
At least I don't have to go through the sheer embarressment of a drunk father on the disco dancefloor...phew. And just in case you were wondering, yes they did play "Come on Eileen", well it wouldn't be a wedding disco without it!!

Karate Kid
Posted Oct 9, 2000
After a gap of many a year I accidentally watched the karate kid. Now as a youth I had seen this film on many an occasion and perceived it to be little less than a work of genius.
Now as a 24 year old watching the same images being flashed before me I have come to realise two things:
1) Karate Kid is complete and utter rubbish (no words could do how pants this film is
2) As a child I must have either been on drugs or very easy and impressionable.
I thought Mr. Miagi was a kick ass kung fu master, in fact he is/was a very poor actor. Huh.....KIDS

Dirty People
Posted Oct 6, 2000
Slightly annoyed today by some grim wasted of human flesh who decided whilst on a packed tube train that the best course of action was to pick her teeth with her finger only two feet from me.
Surely she had eaten breakfast then brush her teeth. Even if she hadn't please wait till some suitable time. What the hell did she eat to warrant a tooth picking session, a steak sandwich, spare ribs...I dread to think!!!
