X-squeeze me. I get this message for the PDF-linky:
"Sorry, we are unable to retrieve the document for viewing or you don't have permission to view the document."

I already said that somewhere: In the glossary it says that ACEs should now be Community Assistants but as far as I remember that idea was dismissed as soon as it came up. Seems like we went back to calling them Aces.

I trimmed the bit about cafepress and zazzle, Tav, but I moved the summary of the skins further up the document. I think your work on the site structure deserves to be either a document in its own right or an appendix to this one. But this is running at 54 pages right now....

Fine for me but the first sentence is wrong because on Zazzle all shops are free, in your sentence it sounds like they also have payed shops.
Something not so important:
Why does the resolution of pictures seem so bad in that document while it is fine in others? It now seems even worse than some days ago.

@Mrs Z: The link works now.
@Tav: For me it takes a little while to load the pages and graphics and until they are loaded they are blurred. Is that what you refer to?
Picture resolution does get scaled down in PDF files depending on the settings but a loss is there. A Google doc will retain the original picture but displays it as small as you want in the layout but is better at retaining the quality / resolution.

No, that's not what I mean. I mean pixels. The diagram on page 30 is also quite bad for instance, there are strange blurs in the blue.

It's a pdf, I don't know if that's made any difference.
I'm a whiz at word but not so skilled with images. I've resized a lot of them to get them to fit straight in, in an effort to cut down the overall size of the thing on disk and in emails etc. And I don't really know what formats are best: jpegs or pngs, or what resolution to set them to. So I've just resized in my graphics programme and hoped for the best. Any advice on those topics would be wonderful....

BTW, did you download it to your PC or read it on google docs? I am coming to loathe google docs.

The 'Volunteer scheme' diagram? Yes, I see the blurs in the blue both in the Google doc as the PDF but I have to look closely as my eyes are a little off and the screen of my laptop isn't the newest and brightest.
I guess its because of a copy-and-paste image translation or something because in the original Google doc here http://docs.google.com/drawings/edit?id=1sEvWFOO5HteALDWtmiL9bqxA0jSAUDT0CI7pUzwkdMU&hl=en&authkey=CPrBujg it looks fine.

The downloaded PDF looks fine, even in close-up with my nose almost touching the screen. Google docs does something to the images that makes them look 'off'.

Yes, that's what I mean, they look fine in the original documents.
And you are right Ben, they look better when downloaded but not all are good enough. I usually just take jpgs. 72 dpi is minimum and web standard. The t-shirt pictures for instance were already 72 dpi so if you made them even smaller...

No, even in the pdf some things are too blurred. Like the diagram I mentioned before.

I didn't change the tshirt images, though I had problems pulling them over. Can't remember what I did do actually. It's all passed in a haze of redbull.
And I've still got some Real Work to do before bedtime.
I'm happy to do anything that would make them better, but I see us circulating the pdf more than any other format.

It's nothing urgent Ben. Don't worry about it at the moment. At some time if you want you could just send me all your pictures and I try if I get them any better. The diagrams will be redone anyhow.

I'll do that later in the week. Most of them are screen grabs, so it might be easiest if I send you the links.
I would be very grateful.
