See you in Duke Street St James today? I could have sworn it was you.
I might be imagining it though...

NexusSeven Posted Nov 29, 2000
Nah. Sorry. It's kinda near where I work, but I wasn't sent to St James' palace or anything today, so it wouldn't have been me, I'm afraid.
'TG' - Tate Gallery?

Ah. Not the sort of mistake to make.
Umm, yeah; check the latest posting in the 'Hey there...' thread on your page...

Howdy Mina; how's your day been?
So, do the good folk at the Torture Garden know what to expect this evening?

I'm not really here Posted Nov 30, 2000
I think they do.
I'm not quite sure that I do...
But it's going to be great, a real eye-opener.
My day was ok, went out to get my child a birthday cake for tomorrow, and completely failed to remember. But I got him Dr. Gangerene as an extra presant, so I don't suppose he'll be too heartbroken.
What have you been up to?

NexusSeven Posted Dec 1, 2000
I've been working (extensive filing and envelope-stuffing, to be precise). It sucks, to misquote Beavis and Butthead, 'in ways that nothing has ever sucked before'. But I guess you know that work sucks that badly anyway.
Sorry to hear about the memory lapse - that's not as bad as my balls-up; I forgot my Mum's birthday completely this year, and only just managed to save myself with a late-in-the-day phone call. My Mum wasn't too upset, but my little sister gave my *hell* for ages afterwards. D'oh!
Anyway, I hope you had fun at the TG. And I'm sure that Dr Gangerene will be a fantastic present; now I'll want one as well! (If only I knew what it was!)

Torture Gardens was great fun! I loved every minute of it. I didn't even have anything to drink as I didn't want to miss a minute.
I liked the fully equipped dungeon best of all, but I didn't make use of any of the equipment.
Sister's are always tough on brothers who forget birthdays, I'm the same with my family.
I hope you're still meeting us tonight? I don't know what time I will get there, I have to trust my cloclwork car on the M25 so it might not be until next Tuesday.

Glad to hear that you had fun; somehow, I can't see myself being quite so at ease. Then again, who knows?
Yep. I'll be there, tired, sweaty and haggard from a day's hard photocopying and running around at the whim of other people. God, I need a beer... (spot the drunkard )

It's not everyone's cup of tea honey, and I doubt I would have been so comfortable this time last year, but we all change.
Glad to see you'll be making the effort to meet up again, I'll make sure I get you a beer. I won't be drinking (probably) as I don't know if I am coming home or not tonight. (what a dirty stop out I am )

*raises questioning eyebrow*
Any plans for the weekend, then? I'm gonna play footy on Sat for the first time in ages! Cheap thrills, I know, but hey, they're the only sort of thrills I get nowadays...

Nothing for Saturday, as I am working in the evening, but Sunday I am taking my son to see the lights in London. Bless him, he loves lights.
then being interviewed on Monday for a documentary about ...
Sex!
I might be on the TV!

Well, I played footy, and scored a couple of times. A couple of goals as well.
Trouble is, someone unintentionally stamped on my leg, so I think I've torn a muscle in my calf. Again. Bummer.

Oh no. So you need some TLC I expect.
Someone you can prop your feet on and let them make it feel better.
Did I?
NexusSeven Posted Dec 4, 2000
Hmmm. I assume you've seen MaW's piccie of my foot being lovingly cradled by Joe aka Arnia's lap, then?
Anyway, I've got a week's holiday starting today! Yippee! Even if the lower half of my left leg feels as if someone's put it through a mangle!
TLC would be a smashing idea, methinks...

Was that your foot? We were wondering whose it was.
What are you going to do with your week off?

I'm gonna go home and try and get a new job!
(Can't wait for home-cooked food and general lazing about)

I'm not really here Posted Dec 4, 2000
I thought that you said that you liked your job? Or was that someone else I was talking to?
General lazing about sounds good, where is home?
Did I?
NexusSeven Posted Dec 4, 2000
Nah. Can't stand my job - I can't post the reasons why I dislike it as I'd be totally open to legal action...
Home is the wooded wastes of the Cotswolds, near to Cirencester. I'm braving a train journey to Swindon, which might prove to be a bit of a mistake...
