oh, sheez....Southern California's a beat up piece of crap, and I know this 'cause I live in it. The freakin' armpit of the Inland Empire, too. New York can't be that bad, nor London. So there.
(If I'm messing up my facts, sorry, but I'm not reading the extensive backlog.)

Lets agree that all three have their bad points - but they must also have their good point or we wouldn't there would we ?

I do not know of any good points. I believe that no one in their right minds would want to live there. Fortunately for real estate, there is a significant number of people who are not in their right minds.

*glares at happy..* Um I resent that statement! i Happen to be of the United States and I ALSO happen to have watched a couple of episodes of Red Dwarf and also think it is very funny. so lets not put ALL americans in one catagory? There are a few exceptions..

Dream the main comments were against your major TV networks not citizens of the USA in general.

Of course, they were in question as well.

Happy, I just want to say that PBS is a major network channell, and they do carry Red Dwarf, Doctor Who, The Hitchiker's Guide To The Galaxy (on occasion), and some other show that, while I don't think is british, is shown amid these other classics.
Sorry, I shouldn't get into these arguments. I've travelled enough to see the best and worst of humanity. The best place is home, and home is where the heart is. If it wasn't for jobs, friends, schools, and other necessary aspects needed for keeping home up and running, why go anywhere else except for on vacation?

Couldent agree more - I just responding to NYC student's comments about british comedey the last thing he has apparently seen was monty python. It's unfortante that a lot of british comedy will never make in the US because of your stricter censorship and the fact that a lot of our comedians have strong regional accents.
