*From a couple of mountains away, there is a very large explosion. If there were windows in this mountain, one would see bits of shredded garbage falling from the sky.*

KL-Hmmm. At least some good came out of that. Millions of dollars of pollution caused, and I only did it out of self defense. Today isn't such a bad day after all.

*One of the falling pieces of garbage, looking suspiciously like GL's left hand with one finger extended, crashes into one of the antennae on the top of this mountain. An junior Gecko runs into the room.*
KL, sir! We've lost primary communication with Planet X.

WHAT???
*Resisting the urge to kill the messenger, as all true master super-villains must do if they are to keep a decent number of minions around, KL's android (yeah, KL himself is still hiding out somewhere) seems to take a few deep breaths and thinks for a moment*
Take a memo, Gecko. Have secondary communication capabilities enforced. As long as we can still get something there shouldn't be any problems at all. Then, have a team of Geckos and communication scientists head up to find out what happened. Have them fix whatever was damaged, if at all possible, and make them scour the area for whatever caused this. Finally, while all of this is occurring, send a Long-Transport Scuttler Ship, with a full crew and armed against any potential hazards for the trip, head to Planet X to make sure that we can communicate. If one of our vessels is there, we can communicate through the vessel, and that should be a decent substitute until we can finish fixing whatever the problem is.
That was fun!

*KL glares at the pictures of Affy and GL for a few moments*
I see. You "captured" them on camera. Ha. Ha Ha. Amusing.
*Runs over to his bookshelf, and picks up a large, leather bound book*
This is the Vooda-Vella-Maticron. It contains spells of pain and torture gathered from across the largest reaches of the galaxy. People cower in its presence, as it has single-handedly wiped out entire planes of existence. And now, I shall use it on you for your incompetence.
*KL takes several menacing steps towards Bobo before hitting him over the head with the book twenty or thirty times*
NOW THEN! Get out of here, and hijack a space-ship from the h2g2 space centre. Preferably one with a great deal of treasure on it. Report back to me when you finish.

*Sighs*
Look....you know where the 24-7 is? No, you wouldn't....if you do a Guide search for "H2G2 space centre", you should find it eventually. It's managed by a researcher named Alien. Now, go. Report back as soon as your mission ends.

Underling service has deteriorated amazingly since the days of my grand schemes. The OmegaMatic, the Fish Wars, the relentless attacks against CHOPPERS HQ, the invasion of the h2g2 Beach, the rat-ant plan....what I wouldn't give to get back the golden age of STUMPED....

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
