Sigh. On the one hand (my sinister one, presumably 
) I'd hope there's a lawsuit. On the other, though (my good hand, no doubt 
), it would be more likely to be against the school than the stupid, stupid teacher who did this (because the no-win no-fee lawyers would have the bigger pot of money in their sights 
), and it might not have been their fault that this stupid, stupid thing happened.

In previous cases, I've felt the people doing this were striking a satirical blow against religious privilege. But this woman seems to take pastafarianism way too seriously which is precisely what pastafarianism decries.

I tend to agree. Doesn't a "test case" setting a precedent like that *reinforce* the idea of special legal exemptions for religious beliefs, which is the sort of thing the whole Flying Spaghetti Monster lark was supposed to be against?
