I can hardly think of anything that would turn me off a business and convince me never to buy anything from them ever again, than getting messages like that. That's truly barf-making.

The article goes on to say that Boden allegedly charms customers with sentences such as, "You are the milk in my tea, the sauce on my chips and the dark bits in my ginger hair."

Barf-making might explain the dark bits in his hair.

The word 'allegedly' has never been more appositely used than that, I reckon.

It's things like this that convince me the country is going back to the Republicans in both the mid terms and the next presidential election.

If the government wimps out like this to someone who is clearly 1) in the wrong and breaking the law (as I understand it from what I've read) 2) is clearly a crackpot of the most cracked and potted, and 3) keeps giving the right wing, the Tea Party and the libertarians all the ammunition they could ever want, gift-wrapped, by backing down in situations like this one, by admitting wrong-doing within a nano-second over the fuss with the IRS and the Tea Party organisations instead of taking a measured and thorough approach (because it turns out the story wasn't as clean-cut as the right are whining on about and they turned a molehill into a mountain which they're now sitting at the top of), and other stories besides, as long as it continues to act submissively instead defending itself, I don't see the Democratic Party going anywhere for the next ten years except the political wilderness.

I really, really hope I'm wrong.
