Currently in the middle of it!
Our garden table (plastic) and lots of bags of garden waste (which spouse hasn't taken to the tip yet) are blowing gleefully around the garden! Trees are looking dodgy around the town and rain, oh yes, there is rain!!
I couldn't shut the bedroom window properly (spouse has come home and done it now) so could hear and feel the effects quite well for a while!

It apparently started this morning in the South West and has swept upwards since then.
I managed to get through the working day unscathed, with sunshine in fact, but as I got home the wind was already throwing stuff around the garden. Now it's rain and wind, both strong but I wouldn't necessarily say gale-force. I think other areas have had it worse.

No. He now sticks firmly to sunny intervals and scattered showers; and has done for the best part of 17 years now.
I must have told you before that that hurricane was widely viewed up North as God's punishment on the south of England for re-electing Margaret Thatcher a few months before.
