I just wanted to pop in to say "hi" since I'm wandering through these parts again!

How have you been? Still at the Drafthouse, I see. I'm glad you like it there! You do still like it there? Or not ...

I have a screensaver on my computer that takes pictures from my "photos" folder, and a few of your pictures came up yesterday. Got TJ and I to talking and wondering how you were doing. So how are you doing?

Yep. still at the Drafthouse. They tell me I'm bar manager but I'm not on salary - still got to punch that clock. I don't mind too much though. In a word - overtime I'd have to rack up at least 45 hours every week if I was on salary and I don't think there's enough for a bar manager to do back there to make 45 hours every week.

Best thing about the job - I get to choose which beers we sell I wish we had a more discerning audience though. They're coming to watch movies, not to drink good beer, so we sell a lot of Miller Light, Bud Light, Lone Star, Dos Equis

BV's moved back to San Antonio and bought a house there. She's turning into a weird lady I think. Currently running at four cats plus a dog. That's two cats less than it was before she left Austin. She does, er burlesque And she's a phone dominatrix Makes a ton of money doing that. There are some weird men out there

How about you and TJ? How are fairing in the current economic conditions and the mid-west winter

As soon as you started saying you were still punching the clock, I thought "overtime!" Yeah, can't beat it. When TJ and I lost it by getting salary, it made a difference!

A phone dominatrix? Guess there's not too much risk in letting somebody boss you around on the phone! Good for her.

TJ and I are fine. I just got laid-off, but we're okay economically. I'm enjoying the time off, and he loves having a "housewife!" I just applied for unemployment, so we'll see how much they're willing to fork over to me.

I'm sick to death of winter, to be honest. I was thrilled to see that my daffodils popped their little heads out of the ground today. I hope they're not being too optimistic!

You probably don't want me to tell you what the weather's like here but you probably know what Texas winter can be like. It's been a very weird winter actually - one day we'll be in winter, two days later it's summer, two days later it's winter again, and it's been doing that for a couple of months In fact we've had three seasons in one day, including some snow!

What kind of employment are you going to look for? I hear phone dominatrix pays well, and with your reputation as Shea the Sarcastic...

I'll tell him you said that! He has less chores to do, so he loves when my job is the house!

I know you've been having a winter! I should think everybody's getting all of the time because of it!

I hear phone dominatrix pays well too ... but I don't think I'd be able to do it without laughing! It just seems so ludicrous! I mean in-person dominatrix, fine ... but over the phone? Now if there is a phone sarcasm line I'm in!

Well, apparently, all it takes sometimes when a, er, client calls, is to tell him he's not worth speaking to, put the phone on a table or whatever surface is nearby, carry on with what you were doing for 15 minutes, then hang up on him. Some blokes seem to love that sort of treatment

Wow ... that sounds very easy!

You know, they could go to a bar and try to pick up a beautiful woman and get that kind of treatment for free!
