11/10/10 pt2

ok, so it's now 13:12, and i have JUST removed myself from the sofa. i have been into the kitchen, put the kettle on, and looked at the pile of washing that still needs hanging out. the gods have conspired against me, as here in barnsley it is now rather bright and warm. if it had stayed overcast, i would have likely gotten away with the "but dear, it looked like it was going to rain at any given moment" line, but not to be. so i shall go back into the kitchen, reboil the kettle, hang the washing out, and then finish watching angels and demons.
then it's time for 'tron'!

oh well... if i want the enemy to fork out for an indian takeaway tonight, i better do it.

it is now 18:15. 3 hours ago i was contemplating a snooze before my show. that plan was scuppered by the enemy's sister and her idiot husband turning up so that the enemy could shave his head.
so we have been sat in the kitchen listening to her spouting about how her mother should spend her retirement (money) and what it basically boils down to is that she (the daughter) doesn't want her (the mother) to "waste it".
in laymans terms: "the less she spends, the more i have coming to me when she dies!".
why am i telling you this? i dunno. just venting i suppose!
more later.

so how's your 42 day gone so far?
i awoke at around 4am, unable to slepp. the curse of someone who works nights! i lay there tweeting and playing solitare on my phone, until boredom took over and i decided to get up.
i have since playlisted my show for tonight, (live radio, such a joy), watched the free copy of Carry On Camping that came with a sunday paper i don't wish to be connected with, helped the boy do his homework which consists of him writing a "report" into the arrest of someone who has commited a burglary (what they teach 10 yr olds these days?) and very little else.
oh yes, and spent about 4 hours reading the posts about time travel on here. which i either found very amusing or completely didn't understand!
i think it's time to try and read Carl Sagans "Cosmos" again. i have previously mananged to get a couple of chapters in, then had to give up before my brain exploded! i own a copy of A Brief History Of Time. it's never been opened.
just been told by the enemy that it's sausage and mash in a massive home made yorkshire pudding for tea. don't try to read that into any of the above, you'll fail miserably.

thats all for now.

ttfn,
