Any way with regard to Friday I decided that quality is more important then regularity if you get my drift.
So how where the students?
Promises, promises.
amdsweb Posted Oct 17, 2000
Halloo
Sorry, my internet connection has been somewhat off and on today - problems with a fibre-optic cable or something technical like that.
Quality is indeed better than quantity!
Hope you're well! We are on stand-by here at the Royal Free in case we have to take any of the wounded from the rail crash near Welwyn GC. (4 dead so far, over 80 injured according to my inside information)
Off down to A and E to see if they need me at all - otherwise, I shall need to work out how to get home...
Take care

Hi honey - sorry major stress here. You haven't got any stress relieving narcotics you could bike over have you?
How was yesterday?
Promises, promises.
amdsweb Posted Oct 18, 2000
We didn't get any of the patients at all in the end.
Promises, promises.
Incey Wincey Spider (International Arachnid of Mystery) Posted Oct 18, 2000
But how was getting home?
Promises, promises.
amdsweb Posted Oct 18, 2000
It was actually dead easy in the end - I just got on the train and sat there No delays at all (not sure how they managed that one).
I can't do you any narcotics, but I've got one of those squidgy balls if you want to use that. If its all v. busy and stressfull over at your end, don't feel obliged to reply
*gives virtual neck rub*
Promises, promises.
Incey Wincey Spider (International Arachnid of Mystery) Posted Oct 18, 2000
coo thanks!
I have just finished the really stressful thing that was getting me down and now it is just the easy bits I need to do now
Promises, promises.
Incey Wincey Spider (International Arachnid of Mystery) Posted Oct 18, 2000
Cheers - I am resorting to regular walks round the block but I think I need a few days off.
so what are you up to today?
Promises, promises.
amdsweb Posted Oct 18, 2000
I am spending the day getting months & months of blood results off one computer (on the Trust network), writing them down, walking ten feet to another computer (on the Medical School network) and entering them in. Two secure networks sharing a room, and never the twain shall meet. It is the biggest, most boring pain in the arse you could ever imagine in your life ever. So there.
You should take up smoking - makes the regular walks round the block more purposeful
I hope you feel more chilled out soon
Promises, promises.
Incey Wincey Spider (International Arachnid of Mystery) Posted Oct 18, 2000
You are right - I should but I would rather get a dog which I could bring into work. It would make walks round the bloke even more meaningful.
Tried smoking for three months and still failed to get addicted!!

*chucks a third bucket of icecubes down Incey Wincey's back, and makes mental note to club police cadet round head next time in Hendon*

Incey Wincey Spider (International Arachnid of Mystery) Posted Oct 18, 2000
How did you fit it into the drive?
Promises, promises.
amdsweb Posted Oct 18, 2000
I jumped up and down on its little head until it was squashed flat as a pancake.
(I didn't really)
