Carry your home on your back
Well obvously my name isn't really Backpack, but I'm sure you guessed that already, anyway I got sucked into this site via a portal on my wap phone, and I seem to have been stuck here ever since, but that doesn't mean I'm trying to leave.
O.K. so what am I all about? Well I'm male, 32 years old and relatively sane, (not quite as sane as Wonko The Sane, but still sane).I live in the East End of London, but I love the countryside, especially mountains and at the moment I've got an itch for a bit of adventure. Now I'm not too certain what kind of adventure I'm after, but my 65 litre rucksack is packed and ready, and over a period of time I intend to submit a few entries explaining just what it contains and how useful a thing it is to own.
Well could you imagine being in a situation where you had to flee from an impending disaster? Obviously you would have to take with you as much as you needed to survive, but also be confident that you could carry it with minimum of effort.
Now the chances of this happening are rare, but in an ever expanding universe it is always a good idea to be fully prepared for anything. Always expect the unexpected.
My self appointed mission is simple. I have set myself the task to show how easy it is to carry everything for living on your back, the best types of packs to use and how to find and use the bare minimum of equipment needed to survive from a rucksack.
So whatever you think you might need for life on the move, think again, you need to consider how much weight you can carry, how you will balance it, the distance you may travel, the resources you might find on route and the resources that you won't buy in the shops.><>
