I live in a small village, and I have a small holding about 18 acres, i have 4 cows with 3 calfs and 2 pigs with heaps of piglets, 6 geese 2 dogs(GOD BLESS"UM) some duck (who decided to leave when they choose to) 2 nippers a missus!
also we have started a school too, after a couple of years getting pee'ed off with the local state school system!

it's ok! Bloody hard work and also interesting too! We have a village pub, and a common too! And I make squibs (home made fireworks) these are fired at the local church as by way of tradition in our village

an oboe eh! sounds complicated, we have been making planks this morning out of the rest of the tree trunk, got some nice ones too, one of which will be going to make a pub bar, its for the back bar of the pub we use and then some more for a few chairs, tables and the old pick nick tables too, so were looking good for the winter, the root veggies are looking good too, beginning to pull those too! whats left of the apples will be ready in a few weeks if the weather holds! and we have got a nice load of flour, swapped a tractor gearbox for ablout a years worth, so i think were in for a comphy year!

it's been a wednesday sort of day here....
did a bit of work, did a bit more work, decided to go shopping for food for supper, cooked for my kids (+1) had a nice gossip, and now it's all quiet
yeh...funny sort of day...it rained ...

We have one more day of planking up and then it's a good tidy up and it's finished 5 ton of fire wood each, some really nice planks, and some really usefull fencing stuff out of it, it's quiet this morning as the misses and nippers are up the in laws visiting for a few days which is nice as I gets to have the whole house to myself!
