h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

I'm popping by as one of the assistant community editors here, aka <./>aces</.> ...admittedly one rather squarely in the mid-fifties. But I digress...We aces greet newbies such as yourself and help you get settled. Thanks for providing a bit of an introduction, not everyone does you know. To familiarize yourself with everything carefully review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. You'll find numerous links(as implied)and of course a fair bit of useful information as well. The first feature mentioned are the four different skins or user interfaces/appearances. Next are the assortment of <./>smileys</.>, and there are quite a few of those. As you progress down the list you'll see that much more awaits discovery.

In fact further down the page you'll find a link to our weekly newspaper <./>thepost</.>. And most likely you'll notice that it has a links page as well. Somewhat of a list within a list...but oh what a list it is! Examining that will reveal the Researchers' Map at A5076614, the Regional Researchers' Groups at A660313 and among doZens of other useful items and venues, the Personal Space Workshop at A1123354.
