Curling Championships and how they affect my life

Today, I thought "let's go skating!" This is normal, because it is the summer holidays and exceptionally hot, even for Scotland. So I dragged my friend into Kilmarnock only to find that "Oh, there's a curling championship on today..." Never mind...

Holidays

Seven weeks without school. Can life get any better? Arguably, yes! You could have eight, nine weeks without school, but teachers are ALWAYS the sadists we believe they are, and they're not well-intentioned sadists either.
Well, with this holiday it doesn't feel like a holiday. Teachers come up with fantastic ways to spend that spare few weeks ~ English essy! Come on, it's fun! Relax with an English essay!

Do you mean you've forgotten EVERYTHING you've learned in Chemistry? Revise girl! Come on! Exams coming up!

The holidays were kicked off with an incredible start ~ my sister decided it was the perfect morning to come in early and YELL MY HEAD OFF!
Of course we should do away with teachers and little sisters.
And holidays should stay.
Permenantly.
A time for relaxation and some "optional" English reading.
