Do they inflict that on everyone under the age of consent and of course people at weddings?

It wasn't inflicted on the people at OUR wedding, so I guess no.smiley - smiley

And you just DON'T do the Hokey Pokey, 'coz it's boring, annoying and stupid.

I don't know how to do the cha cha...

Only ever been taught blooming highland, scottish, jig rubbish in social dancing smiley - erm there's only so many times you can do the Gay Gordons and the Flying Scotsman!

The people who invited social dancing in Scotland (and the Hokey Pokeysmiley - winkeye) should have been committed at a very young age.

In college, I took courses in ballroom
dancing. At my best, I was no better than
average. Rhythm and coordination are not
my strongest suits. smiley - erm

I can fake my through a waltz, and maybe
a foxtrot. Disco was okay because there
was no set form to it. I made stuff up,
and nobody noticed or cared.

Breakdancing never caught on in my social
set, which was just as well. Seeing Don
Ameche do it in "Cocoon" was okay, because
they obviously used a stunt double. smiley - smiley

I did some kind of box step at Octoberfest
last year, and that worked out all right.
As I said, I can usually fake it, but I'm
not really that good.

You're lucky you didn['t grow up in Scotland...social dancing's inflicted on us every year and we're dragged onto the floor for the Christmas disco smiley - yikes
