I'm in Sydney.
we did have one failed attempt at a Sydney meet last year, but i am happy to try and organise another one...I will sort an ad out with Shazz for the Post directed to here and see what sort of response we get...
I think Tashalls is back on line, Bruce will still be around. They are both Sydneysiders as well. Kes is over in Perth. Perhaps we should all meet at Uluru

I'm in Sydney too - the problem is that unlike Europe where things are a little closer - our wide, brown land is very w---i---d---e

Linus - any idea what happened with the last Aussie meet?? Did it happen?? Was it successful or did it fail?? If so why?
If we can find out we may be able to avoid the same problems - but if it's a matter of timing (getting everyone in the same place at the same time etc) THAT may be hard to avoid.

Wowbagger is in qld somewhere. Brisbane?
The last one Tashalls and Bruce were in the same pub but didn't find each other and i had been working in Melb unexpectedly all week and couldn't make it.
If we have another Sydney one, i suggest we use my local pub in Newtown. That way you would all be guaranteed to find me, if no one else

I don't suppose there's enough of us in Darwin for a meet up?

Linus - Newtown's great for me - nice and close to the city centre and the Unis too - which pub BTW - not too many poker machines i hope - any chance of a special room or something?? What about food??
Surely a sign or something would help us to locate each other - maybe we could get some "goodies" from the italics at The Towers

The Carlisle Castle, it's in the back streets, off Australia St. Yes we could get a room and they do have food. Not too many pokies and they got rid of the tab 12 months ago
