Truth

Sitting under a bodhi tree.
Resting in great natural peace.
Breathing in and out.
Some prefer to meditate with their eyes shut.
The tibetan buddhists meditate with their eyes open.
No grasping, no aversion.
Observe your thoughts passing as clouds before your mind's eye.
Allow them to be.
I do believe my answers will come to me with time, and I have learned how not to be impatient, to trust.

European art [mostly Expressionism], influencing Brazilian literature, painting, sculpture. - Still, Brazilian artists were trying to blend our culture with the strong European influence with the new national identity.
Mario de Andrade, Oswald de Andrade, Di Cavalcanti, Tarsila do Amaral - foremost authors and painters, but there were dozens of others.
"Macunaíma" - the book by Mario de Andrade
"Ai que preguiça!" Portrays the Portuguese, African and Native
South American heritage of Brazilian culture.

A Lunar Eclipse - long time ago
two expeditions:
one to Principe - a Cabo Verde Island
another to Sobral - a small town in the State of Ceará. Small, but the natives are so proud of themselves, it is nicknamed "Estados Unidos de Sobral" - United States of Sobral. Part of the equipment left by the expedition is still kept in the town's small museum.
These observations were used to prove that Einstein's calculations for his Theory of Relativity had been correct.
