Not as yet. I approach the internet, and particularly search engines with infinate caution and at least five hours to spare. Suddenly I seem to have 17 conversations going here too, which is most unusual and has meant that I have hardly got any work done today, let alone anything else!
But trust me... I cannot be put off for long...
What've you been up to?

Well and so my internet connection has given up the ghost entirely at home. I'm sure it just does it at the most inconvenient time to annoy me.
I have to work this weekend as well. I live to work. I live to work. If I repeat it enough times, I may start to beleive it.
So A coven. What does one do at a coven meeting then?

depends on what time of year it is... if there is sabbat or esbat.. etc etc... but it is very enjoyable and meaning ful whatever we do... it is a feeling of togetherness... so are you not in a coven then?

I'm not a witch.
But even if I were, I suspect that Russia doesn't have too many covens. There is a strong tradition of shamanism out in Siberia, I believe, but in general Russia is somewhat conservative when it comes to religion. The Orthodox church (which seems to have a surprising amount of pull) looks with disfavour on certain christian 'sects' ( their name for Jehovah's witnesses and the like), and they are not even overly tolerant of the Catholic church. I suspect that their feelings about witchcraft are somewhat stuck in the 15th century.
Is intolerance a huge problem in Britain? Or is it more that everybody has this sterotypical image of hags with black cats worshiping the devil, which once dispelled (he he) leads people to say 'oh okay then...'?

it is somewhat, people are a bit more open than what they sound over there... there are still people that do not see the truth in what we do, and yes they do try and cause problems...
You would be surprised by how many covens would be over there, especially if the main countries views are still stuck in the 15th century, they do as we did back then... Hide and do everything "undercover."
But like i said we get a bit more freedom... it is worth it if you can find someone, you will not be the only person to want to do it and you will certainly not be the first...

Well, that's true, I suspect, but my Russian is lousy. And item number three hundred and seventy on my personal gripes list is that I seem to have no time to myself at the moment. I can't imagine where it all goes...

Extra hours in the day would do me too. I don't understand it cos I recently made a few changes in my life which I thought would leave me with more time, but mysteriously have had the opposite effect. Ah well.
How long? Errr. 4 or 5 years depending on how you count it. I think. Hang on a minute *counts on fingers* Yeah: arrived 1996, had a break, lived here continously since 98.

Britain. Hometown Stevenage. People from Stevenage tend to move to the oddest places: anything to get away.
You're in Southampton, aren't you?

Oh yes, of course. Can you remember any of your past lives?
It's ok, really. Bit dull, p'raps. Lots of grass. When the Guardian wanted to do an expose on binge drinking, they sent the reporter there. That kind of thing...

Bothering the British Embassy/Consulate. Long story. Horrible building outside, but inside, made me somewhat homesick, the decor being British Functionalism. Thin woll carpets and lots of blond wood.

nice... dont feel too bad/ homesick as you could still be here in spirit... all you need to do is close your eyes and remember, think back to when you were here and you can relive it all...

To be honest, the only thing I miss on a regular basis is various items of (usually junk) food. Like peanut butter, which you can get here, but not redily. And quavers crisps...
*eyes unfocus... and drool appears...*
I did go through a stage of missing the countryside for a bit, but that seems to have passed again now.
