What have you been up to?

Funnily enough I just applied. I was having a little sneak around to see the kind of thing ACEs write to newcomers and pitched up in this chap's query. I was felling a bit gung ho I expect, so I answered it.

Thing is, the sad news about DNA made me decide to get a bit more stuck in. That and the fact that I should have a bit more free time soon, as, congratulate me, I am jacking in my time-stealing, life-constricting job in approx two weeks...

Ah, well, perhaps jacking it in was a bit strong. I'm downsizing really. At the moment I rejoice in the glamerous title of 'Assistant Director of Studies' for a small language school. However, after two years of having no free time, constant problem solving and huge amounts of annoying paperwork, not to mention timetabling headaches (how do you get a round peg into a small hole?) and very little moetary reward, I have decided to go back to being 'just' a teacher. The freedom, the wide open spaces.....

Wow sounds good! Free time is important... though in many cases you just end up spending it on h2g2 (not that that is a bad thing)
