Where was this when I was a geek in high school?
have you ever had the feeling that you are the only one who knows a great secret? so great, that you decide to share it with a few people just to spread the love? then - bam - you find out that no-one has even heard of the most remarkable book ever written, nor do they care. this is how geeks are born and suffer for their secrets. to this day, i can only name a handful of people i know who have even heard of the Guide. it saddens me. maybe it is because i live in canada. maybe i was ahead of my time. maybe i am doomed to be stranded on THIS planet, making sandwiches with a whippy little number, and whole fat mayonaise. no matter. i am here now.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
