Why Smooshie? Usually the first question... for h2g2, cos Smoosh was already taken (you out there? It's MINE!!)
I'm a film crazy nut who often works behind the camera (6 years in the business with 4 feature films to my credit, the most expensive over 6 millon quid as producer/line producer) and sometimes bores other people with technical jargon, film jibber jabber and general filmmaking nonsense. Not a nut in the way I know all the names of every director's mother's grandmother and how their first present was a lego "build it yourself" SLR camera, but more someone who has ambitions beyond his reach but still dreams of big films with my credits on them.
I've also made numerous short films, commercials, corporates and music promos, am a freelance editor and camera operator, and sometimes moonlight as a crap actor.
I'm also an ex-journalist and a prose, poetry and script writer.
