Hi mrbluesky
You're quite right, really mustn't make any more posts to the princess or any of her friends. To do so would cause upset and would almost certainly result in the closure of your account.
On the matter of the friends list, I'd like to suggest that you can afford to take a more relaxed attitude. I don't worry about who is on my friends list - I don't know half of them. They can't do any harm - it's not as if you'll be posting any journals in your old account, will you? Only insecure people worry about who is and isn't on their friends lists.
If you really can't get it out of your head, don't display the reciprocal list. What you can't see won't hurt you.
Amy

Having read post F1719842?thread=368149 I'm afraid I can shed no light on it. Had I read it in isolation, without reading your post first, I wouldn't even have known that it was about an account called 'Brookside.'
There are proper procedures for dealing with incidents that occur on h2g2.
If you feel that this post is part of a campaign of harassment against you, the correct procedure is for you to make use of the arrangement for yikesing posts. If you need help with that, let me know and I'll point you at the yikesing page.
I would advise you against posting in that thread yourself. It will not help.
The ACEs are not the h2g2 referees or a police force - and for that matter, neither am I. This is a problem you can and should deal with directly yourself.
If you aren't sure what to do in a particular circumstance, feel free to ask at the Gurus page.
Amy

Unsubscribing is the right action. Only yikes the post if you feel it's harassment. You should certainly do so if it happens again.
I cannot see any reason to inform an ACE. The ACEs are not a police force or part of the moderation process and can do nothing about that post that you can't do yourself. They are here to help users, especially new users, navigate around the site.

I'm always happy to help . The volunteer group that helps out with matters about how the site works is the Gurus. If you have a question, post it there or in the <./>Feedback</.> section and then you'll get a prompt reply even if I'm personally not online.

I confirm that what Amy has said is true, both that the Aces are getting nitty about being the squared the H2G2 police and the fact that I and my fellow Guru's are here to help you with any site or technical issues. (well infact any specialised thing really)
