Martin Harper Posted Dec 16, 2000
Well patrick was the one I asked... it's rude to try and jump to the front of the queue...
{but what the heck, answer if you like - I don't care}

There really doesn't seem much point in waiting for people as they could take days... Why don't people just answer as they turn up?
In response to the question, I am currently in one of these unrequited love situations but I'm not saying with whom as it'll probably get back to him...

Odie good for you, the reason the last message didn't make sense was due to lack of punctuation, sorry. Yep I have had unrequited love with a friend and that is all I shall say.

Mr Pat... What do you mean by "Good for you" when I say I am currently in a state of unrequited love? I don't find it particularly helpful... You straight people have it easy in that it's relatively easy to tell a member of the opposite sex you find them attractive as they're likely to be of the same sexual orientation... It's a lot harder for a gay man with a straight bloke, pardon the pun...

Sorry but couldn't really think what to say. Its crap really isn't it, we should be able to go and ask them outright, but we can't *sigh*

Patrick - I don't think you have quite got the idea of this truth or dare thing... you have to answer the question truthfully... refusing to answer is not an option... so who was the friend, hmm?
If you want to change for a dare, of course, then I'm sure that could be arranged...

When you say that "we" should, are you referring to heterosexuals or homosexuals? Or just everybody? Do I detect you're trying to tell us something or have I misinterpreted it horribly?

What I meant was we should all be truthful. Also I did answer the question I just didn't say who with, that wasn't asked and I won't say anyhow.

Actually I did ask who - if you flick back to the question...
Anyway, my answer... been in unrequited love once, had someone in unrequited love with me once. So I'm even I guess? Anyway, girl I loved was called Naomi. Or perhaps love is a little strong a word - let's just say I was deeply in lust, shall we?
She blatantly knew - as did the guy who later became her boyfriend - but somehow we stayed good friends for a year or so before drifting apart. 'Twas good fun, if a little heart-wrenching at times.
