The thing is, I tried creating a new journal posting from home, using Chrome, and nothing happened. No journal, no error message.
This time I've tried, still in Goo, using IE. I wonder if it's a browser related problem?

No, it's one of the things 
we're still working on Titania. There seems to be either a time out issue, or a problem where the journal is not cached if you open another browser tab and change which tab you look at.
Until we get this solved, I suggest keeping a copy of your journal in notepad before you press. [preview] or [post message] It's a nuisance, I know, but one we're doing our best to fathom.
