Israel: Wait a moment, he's not singing in English? Wow, that's - uh - different...
Good voice, but song lacks a sing-along refrain

Croatia (really ought to stop now, but I just can't help myself):
Good looking girls, voices OK
Sing-along refrain? No

Macedonia: nah, not sing-alongish enough

Malta: another ballad. Yes, I know ballads have won before (who can forget Jonny Logan?) but sorry, I want to be able to sing along easily

Ah, not much

Poland: oh, 'folksy' intro
What's with the Flamenco touch?
Nope, not enough for me

Serbia: Oh my goddesses, how very extremely folkish, over the top!
Sorry, that's just too nationalistic for me

Still Armenia, Moldavia and possibly Switzerland (yes, I'm a bit surprised myself) - only another eight to go, think I'll do them all in one run

Slovakia: folksy intro
Oooo, pretty good

Slovenia: eww, what is that terrible mix?

Spain: Not too bad

UK: OK, first remove those females squirming around him
nope, not enough for me, and I find the preview vide a bit sexist even, no good vibes - as if that would be a good thing?

Sweden: missed all the Swedish semi-finals and what have you
Oh, sorry, I *have* heard that one before but find it too tame

Turkey: slightly less 'oriental' than you'd expect from Turkey, but not too bad

Germany (starts with T in Swedish, so there): might have a chance

Ukraine: tnat hair looks terribly worn
*That's* the refrain? Sorry, but no

Left to view again (for me this is, it's *my* journal after all smiley - tongueout):

Armenia
Moldavia
Switzerland
Slovakia
Spain
Turkey
Germany

Got it narrowed down a *little* bit at least - and I've been right twice in the past about the winner, so am hoping to nail it this year!

Beatrice

I find myself humming the Je Ne Sais Quoi Icelandic lady dressed like a volcano number. Could go down a storm in gay discos!

Looking forward to seeing Lithuania's trouser-ripping-off routine (and since I have a colleague about to move to Vilnius I'd love LT to win so I can go visit next year!)
