Have you checked your vampire details to see if you're sire to others? It might take a while before it gets registered, I think... *unable to get the site to load right now*

Yeah, it says I'm sire to 3 vampires, but I'm pretty sure I haven't received my blood.
Maybe I will soon.

No, but I can be very persistent...
I'm trying to make a map too, but I thought I'd start in a corner, on my way to one right now - but I do wonder what those blue squares (crowded) that aren't banks or pubs are? Guilds?

"Blue squares indicate impassable regions - either they are overcrowded, on the edge of the city, or some other reason."
I have seen some too, sometimes with only three occupants. Maybe also some shadowed out ones. With "surprise" you can enter anyhow.

"Surprise"? What level are you on? Or is that something you can buy a scroll or potion for in the shops? I haven't come across any shops yet...

Marjin, After a long time of procrastination back lurking Posted Nov 3, 2003
It is a power you can buy, but I have to find a shop first, and then safely bring my coins past the thieves who will probably flocking around it.
Problem is the shops seem to move every twelve hours, and only humans very close to it reveal the current location.
In short RTFM.

Hey ho - in an effort to map out the city faster I tried creating another - but I didn't get the 10 bonus pints of blood because the site recognized me despite me using a different browswer.
Niwt, could this be what's happened to you? Are you and your friends using the same computer?

Can I sign up more than one vampire?
As a general rule, no - if several vampires belonging to the same person act in concert (eg. attacking the same target, collecting money for use by one main vampire or pooling their resources in any other way, being sired by the same vampire), I may delete any number of them. That said, a couple of vampires acting fully independently is okay, and will go unnoticed. *Don't* have one sire the other (it's fairly obvious that that's cheating, yes? You can't get nutrition by draining your own blood!)
Making lots of vampires for a friend (or an enemy) is also disallowed; the blood they gain will be removed, and the player who creates the false-vampires risks their main vampire being deleted.

My friends were on different computers, but the same school network, therefore the same I.P address. Maybe it thinks I'm cheating and registering myself many times. Not fair! I want my blood!

I fear you are out of luck, until you can get another IP adres somehow. (An Internetcafe?)
From the FAQ:
"Why didn't I get blood when my friend signed up with my link?
Signups from the same IP address are not counted, because of cheaters. One other unfortunate side-effect of this is that some ISPs (most notably AOL) shove their customers through proxy servers, which sometimes means that two users who live near each other, even if they don't have the same IP, will end up being counted as the same IP address (the address of the proxy server).
Sorry, but I haven't the time give you the blood you've missed out on if this has happened."

Dammit!
Thanks Marjin.
I'll just have to use my various other IPs to cheat and get my rightful blood.
