My area is having it's Bon Odory however it's spelt tonight , a mid summer celebration thing ,Lots of stalls with food ,drink and kids toys for sale in a large outer circle in the centre of which there is a decorated tall structure on which older men beat J drums and sing old J songs and mostly not all but mostly J women dance around in a circle wearing kimonoes ,Their are also lamps strung out from the centre above the dancers .
Most of the local people will be their and my daughter will go with her freinds in their kimonoes , my mml will dress her as my wife cannot do it .
My wife and I will go too but only (I hope) for a short while
