Riding Skills

Yesterday (2nd of May) I went out on an observed ride.
What that means is two of you taking turns at leading go out on your bikes and are followed around by a policeman on another bike.
You have lunch and then do some more riding.
When you return he/she then gives you an honest assesment of your riding skills and then makes recomendations of how to improve.
I must say that I learned a few things in the pre ride chat and put them into affect improving my riding from the outset.
They only offer advice and are not there to train you but it is well worth the £20 or £30 (I can't remember now)that it costs.smiley - biggrin

A Flick Of The Wrist

Today (well yesterday that is as it's now past midnight) I fell over and landed palm down on my wrist.
At first the pain was so intense that I thought I had broken it.
Luckily that wasn't the case.
Though I think that I have probably badly bruised it.
As I flex it and move it around I can feel that something isn't quite right and my shoulder is aching.
I may well have pulled a muscle or two (blimey I have muscles, now where did they come from)smiley - laugh
Still a few days will tell and if the pain (it is now a dull ache)gets any worse or doesn't let off, I shall have it looked at.
Still that's what you get for loosing your temper with an inanimate object that refused to stay fixed.
Apart from that it's been a good day so I'm not down about it just thoughtful (it could have been a great day).
