Met the Head Honcho

Today I tought a 10th grade class while being supervised by the Chief of the English Teaching Department of Humboldt University. The lesson began with a surprise: as this is only a practical - I am still a student - the teacher of the class is always with me in class. Well, he got himself a nice little injury doing sports yesterday... So there I was, all alone with my class, and the boss watching every move I made...
It was all right though, he even complimented me for the lesson - I am just so overcool and awesome!!!!!!
And then there is news, I wonder when I should let everybody in on this?
Do you want french fries with that?

It is kind of embarrasing to see that the latest Journal entry is from about X-mas time, considering the fact that it is now June...
So:
Yesterday I taught my first lesson at school. It was a 10th grade English class where they are presently reading "The Wave", a book so full of sad contradictions that I am determined to write an Entry about it sometime. The lesson was good, though, which may have something to do with the fact that I started off by writing a test. To say the least: the kids did NOT expect THAT! Gotcha.
But they were doing fine, so there you go.

To translate: The computer refused to do what I wanted it to do. It kept refusing. I kept wanting. I started the computer up again, and it worked and no longer refused to. My welcome page has its new face. Now I shall celebrate...

This is most awesome. Trillian's Child copied the jumping smileys from someone, and I copied them from Trillian's Child, and it's working! Thanks to whoever came up with these smileys. Will they spread like a virus?
