Hey Roy, I'm posting here cos I don't think you're still subscribed to the journal entry. The comment did get to me a little bit and I think you misunderstood why, and I just wanna make myself clear.

I have little to no tolerance for idiots proclaiming their religion gives them special rights over things like manners and common decency, which is why i don't like speaking to people who are wearing a full veil, it's horrible. I think that's the problem you'd have with the situation too.

I don't think its because you think any muslim wearing a full veil is likely to blow you up, just as I don't believe you think that any youth wearing a hoodie is going to beat you up. So why make a comment like you did, saying you felt someone wearing sunglasses, and showing the same level of disrespect, is safer? As I said I don't expect you to spout Mail-esque bull droppings

It wasn't meant to refer specifically to muslims, and certainly wasn't a reference to terrorism. It was a reflection of my opinion of *all* religions (not necessarily dangerous but a waste of a lot of good people's time and bearing an undue influence on society), but it was still ill-considered.
