Invited over by Taff to view the narrow minded, naked prejudice, of a fascist Raymondo. The hypocrisy is astounding! 'Sorry for caring about stuff' - the only thing you care about is your own tenets and advocating violent conflict on our streets W

I would never ever vote Tory, but I think it's silly of you to cancel friendships over someone's political views. Your attitude towards Tory voters is also intolerance y'know

fords: "Your attitude towards Tory voters is also intolerance y'know."
Not necessarily.
fords: "I would never ever vote Tory."
Why not? Because you think they do more harm than good? Because you think they're bad people? Because you think they're selfish hate-filled scum?
In that case, feeling that you couldn't be friends with such people is hardly irrational.
TRiG.

Tories are greedy selfish bar stewards but I wouldn't break up a friendship over someone's political views. I'm also an atheist but I wouldn't break up my friendship with my devout Muslim friend either over her religion. I have actually met some nice Tories*, believe it or not!
Politics and religion are personal beliefs and it really is childish to say "you don't believe in what I believe in, therefore I don't want to play with you any more"; the way I see it, I seize the opportunity to bring them round to my way of thinking
Of course, we can then go down the sticky avenue of extremist views, but I'm too tired for that
* They're still wrong though.

that is your perception
new labour were no better than the tories according to a lot
Blair was thatcher Heir then he jumped ship and left gordy holding the bag, we saw under the last government how corrupt the labour party had become

I never said it was anything other than my opinion
It's kinda worrying how right wing Labour became and I'm hoping Milliband will bring back the values of old Labour. I voted Lib Dem in the last election and have regretted it ever since

Absolutely true The last incumbant Government, New Improved Labour, was more right wing and dictatorial than the Thatcher Government ever was.
I may be an old Tory, but I do believe in balance.
