Muse are possibly one of the biggest bands in the world right now. Three piece, bombastic, overblown, politically aware rock.

They know how ridiculously overblown they sound and the more ridiculously overblown they get the better!

Think early Queen but with a social conscience.

Ahem. It's Roymondo, not Raymondo (actually, it's Dave)

I'm going to Brum because I know a bunch of folk through another forum who go to festivals together, gigs together and generally have a splendid time. The tunes I'm playing right now are being broadcast via the Shoutcast server that we all chip in for.

We started the year with karaoke in Birmingham, spent the intervening months at festivals and, when not at festivals, having a blinking splendid time online, and are finishing summer as we began.

I've had possibly the best summer of my life thanks to those folk.

good to know that you like music so much. I am old enough to be your grandmother - or even perhaps your great grandmother. |i was fortunate enough to hear both Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald singing in person. Also to hear the Quintet of the hot club of France. what wonderful memories.and what wonderful music
