Cor blimey, that was sooooooooooppppppeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrbbbbbbbbb.

Despite some early rain the weekend was proper sunny, Neil Diamond was fab, Jay-Cloth was pants (don't believe anything you read in the papers), Victor's Bar was still the most chilled place on site, Elbow in the Queen's Head bar on Sunday were a joy, Hayseed Dixie were, as ever, glorious, Massive Attack led to swooshes of goosebumps, Groove Armada led to serious bouts of jumping around and Lupe Fiasco was a revelation.

More importantly I spent a lot of time with old mates and new forum mates. The latter led to me being called 'Socket' for much of the weekend. It's quite odd to be mooching around a festival and keep hearing people shout 'Socket!' and come staggering towards you proffering free hugs and cider. I feel I am now too Socket to be Roymondo, so a changin' I will be.

So.. you enjoyed it then?

I think Socket's got a nice ring to it. Also, it's much easier to say 'Socket' than 'Roymondo' at board meets. I confess, there was a smutty connotation when I first used 'Socket' but it's pretty much grown on me and I'm Socket on too many other places to carry on being Roymondo.

Although me and soph were planning to ride it down the stairs as part of an imaginary coprologic version of the Crystal maze.

I don't use the commode, it's just for a laugh. I have a normal toilet. Sheesh, I'm really digging a hole for myself here.
