HOW MUCH?!!! Jebus, at least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
Of course, it's not to late to get the coach, which costs about £30 return

WTB Edit button - too late, not to late /facepalm

The coach would involve getting up at stupid o'clock in the morning and sitting on a coach for far longer than I can manage!

I'm sure you can get a coach from London that arrives in Edinburgh around lunchtime, but I could be wrong of course
What about the airyplanes? They any cheaper?

We went through this last year! I don't do the flying thing. It's a wrong'n.

You could hitchhike. That would be strangely appropriate.

I could, but I shan't. My thumb isn't big enough to attract anybody.
I'd love to come but, alas, it isn't going to happen.

Second thoughts, get Fords to give a bug hug to Not Him for me.
Last year was really good. A pox on you Richard Branson and your beardieband shenanigans.

And now, on top of everything else, they've stopped the broadband because of the bill i shouldn't have. The lady asked me to stop shouting and call back tomorrow. The profanity filter will prevent me saying what i want to say. I'm typing this on my mobile and thinking a word that sounds like punts.

Never ever shout at a call centre worker cos they're less inclined to help you; I speak from experience of both sides of the phone here

Primeval Mudd (formerly Roymondo) Posted May 9, 2008
Same here! They killed my broadband at ten on a Friday because a bill they agree i shouldn't have is too big. It took much tongue biting to avoid swearing.

The broadband and telly channels are now back. I'm still not a happy bunny but at least I'm an unhappy bunny with an internet connection.

Well there should be a nice episode of BSG for you to download.
Also I dunno if you have been following it but 4x11 of lost was a humdinger of an episode!

BSG! Whey-hey!
I don't do Lost. I missed the first episode and can now count the hours of my life I haven't lost to it.
I must say, The Graundiad's 'learn to play guitar' booklet is quite good. If any one reading this knows of any sprogs itching to get twanging I'd recommend grabbing a copy of today's paper.

That is a shame because lost is really rather good. If frustrating.
Just think Roy, you have four whole seasons, and we al know how great it is when you can just lose yourself in a flick load of episodes of something!
