I actually cried tonight! While lurking threads on a bleedin' website.

I've left some thoughts in a not very hard to find LiveJournal.

Oh! I've just realised currently I am!

It is that time of year! And I have upset my family by not going out for a day meal, but Hey! Ho!

They won't throw their prams out of the toys, or the dishwater out with the baby!

I just feel really that things can become so serious!

We are people, mostly (2Legs being excluded occassionally) and mostly adult (2Legs being excluded occassionally) so why can't we deal with it?

Well I don't know, I've seen some 'spats' on hootoo before where things got heated but this is bordering on the pathetic. seems some folk will always want to have the last word whether right or wrong and can't say their piece then clear off, end of story, supposed to be adults fer crying out loud!

Slow night? There was absolutely *nothing* going on outside the RPGs and the 'tiff' journals.

I've a lot of things to say but I won't say 'em because I don't want this to become an extension of the shenanigans.

Suffice to say: Lil, VV, Serephina & Cal are people I've always got on with.

I haven't had much contact with Reefgirl, Jack or Rev.Nick but have no reason to dislike 'em (in fact Rev.Nick said something to someone that I was very pleased about a few days back - there's a clue in my current tagline via something in my message center).

Why the hell can't people just get on?

Must admit the two R's are the only ones I've met, but have heard of spats arising before. Particularly with RN and it caused two very good friends to fall out, but why?

I could disagree with 2Legs, you, Alex, Sereph, B'El and it would be done tomorrow, because one of us would realise we were being stupid and talk to each other!

I've done Post-Post Remorse after an full of Skin. Who hasn't? and I have also disagreed with ings, but is that not what a healthy Community is about?

The point is 'Discussion' not 'Arguement' and not to take things personally!

If I did that, and hadn't had counselling to make me think the way I do, I'd have at 18, and be by now!

I know what you are saying, having just been involved in an AGM between the white hats and the black hats, and they all voted for me!

That is off the spectrum.

The general point I was attempting to make, without a lot of success, was that right would prevail.

Everyone can have friends, or acquaintences, or people they know!

Doesn't mean they have to like 'em.

So far, those I've met when sober, have been good, and some have been fantastic, and I stick with the fantastic crowd, while appreciating the good crowd.


However, it will not stop me from being philanthropic (That's helpful, Roymondo) with the Afternoon meets, as I enjoy it, and the meeting of fresh faces!

You attended the school after me, so you never had the 'Ahem' Junior House Master who checked to ensure that you played sport 'unencumbered' by mother's mollycoddling, and used the Team's showers instead of the Master's!

Out of interest: was there a chap called Boniface teaching English & Classical Studies when you were there?

Used to be my favourite Detention Master. Deputy Head, I seem to remember. Walrus moustache. Nicholas, his son, was in my year. Soft as they came.
Although he was also the teacher that almost got me expelled. Luckily Potton, the HeadMaster was out of his office so I ended up with a massive beating from my Dad instead!
