Ya call this a summer?
Posted Aug 14, 2000
I had a better summer last january! At least then there were a couple of days in the 90's (f)!
This summer is turning out to be very dark, cold, and rainy. Which, to say the least, is not the norm in NYC. I thought we were known for our extremely hot summers, and surge in terrorism in july and august! Not now, it seems, as even the terrorists sit home wearing sweaters and sipping coffee. I want my sweltering heat, and burning humidity! I want pigeons to burst into flames when they fly in sunlight! And most of all, I want sunlight!!!
C'mon! What other city has an entire district named "Hell's Kitchen"?!

Ahh...

Ahh, the art of procrastination. Not wanting to do something right now makes you do some very weird time-consuming pointless and frivolous tasks, like formatting the hard drive, and typing everything you lost out by hand...
What I learned the past two days:
Don't ever bring your palm pilot out in the rain.
Don't forget an umbrella, because it will rain just to spite you.
Don't buy a $6 umbrella, because it will stop raining just to spite you.
Don't lose your $6 umbrella, because it will start raining again.
And so on and so forth...
As you can see, I'm a firm believer in Murphy's Law.

Actually...

Upon second thought, England isn't what I'd call the model nation either. England has attacked almost all of Europe, much of the Middle East, a great deal of South-East Asia, China, North America, and great swaths of Africa...
What other nation is hated in 5 continents (besides America)?
