Saw your name on the online users list, and I felt the need to have a look.
Reading your page, I also developed one to type
I must warn you now, weeks ago I joined the h2g2 police force, but I haven't done anything, and frankly I changed my mind right after joining.
K, that's out the way. Why I liked your name? Obsession with New York, frankly. I've had one for years. A stupid, irrational need to get there one day. Maybe it's a past life thing, maybe I'm a headstrong sixteen year old...
Whatever. I've probably scared you senseless now by rambling for the last five paragraphs. Teach me a lesson for listening to music (I'll explain that one day...)
Anyway, I liked your page, I wanted to talk. So now I've done my bit, reply if you feel like it.
And trust me, occassionally, I'm not as weird as this.

well, as another head-strong sixteen year old, I see nothing wrong with being obsessed with NYC (for it IS my name here) or music, as long as it isn't by Dead White Male Europeans. As you can see, every one of my article is about NYC in some form or another . Where are you from to be obsessed with NYC? Obviously not from THIS country...
It seems that even though there's a police force and an entire army of super-heroes, nobody has given the villians a real run for their money. That isn't to say we like the unfair advantage our numbers have given us...

Well I believe I'm more like Switzerland than anything else So I'm not an active policewoman, and I kinda like the idea of having some villains out there I'm all for a little chaos...
Well, I hail from sunny *ahem* Scotland. You can guess why I'm not crazy about *my* country
Oh, and music taste- Green Day and Nerf Herder are currently my favourite bands, but I like anything. Except boy bands etc.... Cheesy pop music's not my style And I draw the line and country and western. It's certainly earned that reputation as the music of pain...

For some strange reason, I can't find anybody who DOES like boy bands, and yet they get millions in CD sales... Country & Western? How do you feel on Folk & Bluegrass?
Scotland's nice, actually. I've never been there, but I at least know it holds a much better reputation than it's neighbors to the south , and America (of course, the same can be said of most countries)
I must ask: The party. How does one hold a party on a forum, when most people in parties sit, grunt, and drink themselves silly...

Actually, it works really well. If you get the hype going beforehand that is.
But, if you do, plenty of people turn up at the same time, and postings are replied to really quickly.
Then, you just roleplay, flirt, and get cyberdrunk (which isn't quite as much fun as the real thing, but doesn't leave you with a hangover )
Ok, it sounds weird but it's good. My 6 month h2g2 birthday's coming up soon and I'm throwing a party- I'll invite you to that
Folk and Bluegrass? Ummmm, what exactly is that? I have a vague idea, but not enough to form an opinion...

Folk is folk: The music people played according to their own emotion, as compared to their own greed. Bluegrass is American folk when particularly talented folk musicians got together for jam sessions. Country and Western are bastardized step-cousins, played by people according to their greed...
This party sounds as what the original internet was meant and used for, before it became the consumer conglomerate it is today... damn microsoft... damn sony... damn metallica...

Ahh I see someone don't like the U.S.A and wants to defect and take one of the two good cities(N.Y. and L.A) with him. Well it's a shame that it wont work, but I guess the chase is better than the catch.
Thou I must say in your rather in depth ramble about who America and the U.K have attacked, you seem to leave out a rather large northern neighbour. Hell the good ol' U.S.A is still trying to take over Canada. One day we'll get it. Just thought I'd add my two cents

LA? What about Boston and San Fran?
Anyway, with George W. winning so far, it looks like NY's secession might not be too far...

who knows? you have plenty other countries under your belt... a lot more than us; the USA kinda specialized in pillaging Latin American lands (as cited in the Monroe Doctrine). Britian got everywhere else, as it seems...

The implications are so utterly profound and thought provoking, I don't have a response! anyway, why are you the archangel of impossible escapes?

Archangel Tweetie (01/06/02...) Posted Jul 24, 2000
Simply explained, I am also Tweetie- impossible escapes from that darn cat are a speciality
At least, that's what I reckon was in God's head when he named me...
