word paintings
Posted Feb 15, 2005
I am constantly amazed by how many moving worlds there are - per second - from which to distill poetry.
I love word painting, word music.
I love one or two line poem-titles - like the painer Joan Miro or Paul Klee - check out their picture titles.
Today I wrote: Blue light on the map of my hand. War screams vibrate through celandine galaxies. The call of the magpie is orange and green - a pattern of music in the scented air.
