Hello, dear. First, you must stop thinking you had anything to do with Spy's absence. If you have gone back through your correspondence and can't find anything, then that's because there isn't anything to find.
I don't know of anything on site that would cause him to leave. But I'll ask someone who might know. I know he wasn't feeling very well for a while. And had a lot of stress in RL. I hope something as mundane as a change of schedules or computer breakdown or something like that is keeping him offline.
I'll check back with you later.

Dear Hypatia -
I'm being a bit poet-girlie-sensitive....
Spy's disappearance - I have to learn to let go graciously. I have a fear that somethng serious might have happened to him, but I have to face up to even that thought.
Strange one, this transient life. He was my friend. He was so magic - really understood art from the inside. I shall just be grateful I knew him. People change routes, re-invent the map. I have, many times, and will hopefully go on doing so.
I guess if he doesn't return in a few months I will write a poem to him. We used to trade writings anyway. If he does return, I shall send him a poem and .
Life with its many textures brings out the artist in me.

Jodan has tried to e-mail Spy. I don't think he replied, but I'll double check.
Yes, it is disturbing to make friends here only to have the person leave without any kind of explanation. Like you, I am worried about him.
A poem about him sounds like a lovely idea - whether he returns or not.
He's a great guy. And so encouraging to the rest of us.
