Dysonville Chipmunk Wars

Dysonville seems to be in North Carolina. Are these southern chipmunks, then?
Hooverville Chipmunk Wars
Dmitri Gheorgheni, Post Editor Posted Jun 12, 2020
No, these are Hooverville chipmunks.
A neighbour came by to say his bear is missing, presumed blown away in last night's windstorm.
This confused me until Elektra explained that it was a ceramic bear...around here, you never can tell.
Also, the state police keep driving around for no apparent reason. I suggested that they might usefully be asked to find the bear.
Chilagna
The Lone Arranger Posted Jun 12, 2020
Day 91...
Making lasagna is greatly simplified if you happen to have made way too much chili...simply substitute the leftover chili sauce for the lasagna meat sauce...
Use about 1.5 cups of chili to form a base in the baking dish...Then build a triple-decker house on the base...
Each story of the house should have a layer of lasagna noodles, about 1.5 cups of meat sauce, and a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese combined with a cup of ricotta cheese.
Dump a bunch of parmesan cheese on for a top layer of the Chilagna...the whole thing will remind you a little of burritos...depending on the bean content of the chili...
Chilagna
ITIWBS Posted Jun 12, 2020
As I say, what is lasagna but another form of enchilada, differing by sauces and pasta, an eggroll but another form of burrito?

heheh. Headlines.
Police yesterday joined the search for a ceramic bear.
It was last seen not sure where, but anyway it isn't there now.
Where oh where is the ceramic bear?

Chilagna!!! I very much like this breakfast place, Imaginary Friend!
Always on for a spot of chilagna at breakfast.
I name this breakfast place Day 91.
Except its Day 92 now ...
Is that a ceramic bear I see on the shelf behind the counter? How did that get there?
I'll go Mex
cactuscafe Posted Jun 12, 2020
The ceramic bear search party arrive at the breakfast place, named Day 91, only to find that it has changed its name to Day 92.
Imaginary Friend wanders behind the perspex screen to the back of the counter to check ITI's Mex-version breakfast recipes, and sneaks the little bear into his backpack.
Then he wanders out into the sunlight, and heads towards Hooverville Literary Festival (which features a local book, signed copies) in his Sundance camper van.

WKLQ in El Paso announces the appearance of Teddy bears on front porches all over El Paso...the El Paso mommas and papas take the little one for bear-spotting walks so they can draw pictures and make up stories about bears they spot...ceramic teddy bears are considered exotics...
Still reading "Under the Glacier"...

When you google "Dmitri Hooverville" you find a newly published book...what exactly happened during those critical "30 hours in Hoovervile"...
Or you could just watch the chipmunks....

Sorry. But next month's Create topic will involve public art. Mostly lambananas and such. But since FWR wanted music to smash statues by, I thought I'd make a smashing statues video with a little help from the US Army back in the day:

And...it is a sleepy, beautiful day, with dappled shadows and cool air. We've been out heckling squirrels and chipmunks, and watching the zen bunny.
In between, I made a video of San Francisco, with a bit of a poem by Vachel Lindsay:

This is my favorite song about San Francisco, though there are other nice ones that I also like:

(The movie "Zodiac" had a particularly nice rendition of this.

The Law of Exclamation!! A more SERIOUS offence...lies are directly proportional to THE NUMBER of exclamation marks and CAPITALIZED words...!!!...anything more than three per 100.000 words indicates a sick mind!!!!
Here are the top ten laws...

The thing about your videos is that, after they run, YouTube always starts playing random things like "the five strangest German tanks of WWII". or "ten weird Russian planes that actually flew"...
We are dangerously close to violating Godwin's Law, which means automatically losing the arguement...whatever it was...
