If I put this message here now, will it still be here when you've returned and put your site back?
Hello

Welcome back, Tink. Did you get my last email? I've a suspicion that the uni account was playing up.
Hello

*hugs*
Thanks Menza! I'd actually started to like the Yahoo thingy but I guess I'll have to force myself to get used to this again
So how have you been since we last spoke properly? How's work and stuff?
*grins at Bagpuss*
Welllll...yes I have got it...
*goes to check the date on it*
I've replied now
Hello
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Mar 18, 2001
I'm ok, just a bit bored as I can't go to work because of the foot and mouth outbreak, and tired as the Grand prix's have been on at foolishly early times Still, I heard from the final uni I applied to today and they've given me a place so that's good...and Ferrari got another 1-2 so that's good too, though possibly not in everyone's eyes
So how are you???
Hello
Bagpuss Posted Mar 19, 2001
I wasn't badgering you, Tink, honest. The next time I logged in your email was sitting in the new mail folder despite the fact I had read and replied to it, so I worried about whether the reply may have been lost in the aether.

Maybe it went the same place as your birthday card Bagpuss Besides when I said I'd replied I actually meant I'd typed hello at the start of the e-mail but I've sent it now
Oh and I've been accepted at Durham which was my first-ish choice so that's good although it's quite a way north which I guess makes it colder...
At least you get to go to work Menza, they reckon it'll be May before all the countryside restrictions are lifted!
Hello
Menza Posted Mar 19, 2001
At least! This is now worce than the 60's outbreak, and that lasted 6 months.
Hello
Bagpuss Posted Mar 19, 2001
This thing's rotten. As well as not being able to go to the countryside, all the alternatives are packed. Still, I'm sure Whitby shop owners and the Leeds climbing wall are happy.
Hello
Menza Posted Mar 20, 2001
Inside is good, especially on a day like today. Its bloody freezing out there.
Hello

*grins*
I know I was in Durham, they still had snow left in some places
OOh and it was so good, after all my whining about being pooled into a different college I actually like it more than the one I applied to
Longer than May?
*goes off to look for a new job*
I don't suppose there are many office jobs which require knowledge of tree felling?
Hello
Bagpuss Posted Mar 21, 2001
You never know with these modern open-plan thingies.
You know we had hail recently? Very heavy as well.
Hello
Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Mar 22, 2001
I don't think even open plan offices have trees...
I guess you had snow by now too? Well it's more fog and rain now but still it was snow
