smiley - ok Thanks you! It's good apart from the fact that you forgot to correct the 'ever since'. smiley - smiley

Thanks Tavaron smiley - ok

I tweaked the sentence so that we could keep the "ever since" smiley - ok as it fits better than "always" in that context.

Vienna is the next one smiley - biggrinA87811833

I've read through it, and the main thing I need to be clear about is the relationship between Vienna the State and Vienna the City - I notice you mention Inner City as well, so is it that the State is the Inner City plus the suburbs?

Thank you smiley - biggrin

Yes, the state is basically the inner City, most of the suburbs (I think some suburbs are in Lower Austria) and some fields and vineyards and stuff.

I'm reading through again and adding some more h2g2 links.

I have a couple more questions:

"beef broth with different 'fillings'" - what is meant by broth fillings?

"Maria Theresia's tomb is the most magnificent. It contains the sarcophagus of the imperial couple as well as 14 others."

Would it be better to say "an imperial couple", since there are several emperors in the crypt?

smiley - ok

I mean things you put into broth. Like dumplings or noodles.

"Maria Theresia's tomb is the most magnificent. It contains the sarcophagus of the imperial couple as well as 14 others."

By 'the' imperial couple I mean Maria Theresia and her husband who are in one 'room' with 14 other sarcophagus.

Thanks Tavaron smiley - biggrin

I made the tweak to the broth section, and left the tombs section as it is (just me misreading it).

I'm happy with this now, so if you are it can be sent on its way! smiley - ok

Hi Tavaron

I'm also subbing Lower Austria A87811806

This is excellent smiley - ok My only query is about the sentence "Lower Austria is the oldest part of Austria and has never been separated from the country" - are there any other states that have never been separated from Austria? Could you give an example of a state that was separated?

Thank you smiley - biggrin

Sorry for the late reply.
Vienna looks fine, thank you. smiley - smiley

I'm not sure anymore myself what I meant. smiley - huh I think what I meant to say is that Lower Austria is kind of the core country. Everything else was added later.

Vienna has been sent on its way.

I tweaked Lower Austria in accordance with your thoughts and I am happy with it now - I hope you are too.

Carinthia has been subbed now as well A87811815

as before, just a bit of grammar tidying. It also looks a fascinating corner of Austria. smiley - smiley

smiley - ok Thanks Lanza, looks good.

Layout-wise, could I ask for all the maps in all the Entries not being put at the top? I think they are too large for this. My original thought was to have them at the bottom.

Also the Hallstatt picture does not belong on the Upper Austria Entry. It was put on it's own Entry. It does not belong to this series at all. Please remove it.

hi

Sorry about this Tav. Galaxy babe applies all the images and credits, and it's a lot of work for her. She can't see the images or the comments on the trello board. I have to copy them all across so obviously things get mixed up. I'm not available now until tomorrow, but I'll sort it out then.
