We never did get around to updating the picture on A77562336 did we? And I don't like that image
it's like a picture of nothing. I wonder if you have seen http://www.star.ucl.ac.uk/~apod/apod/ap130624.html which is a Hubble/NASA pic which would grace the entry perfectly, it shows that not all galactic collisions are mash-ups!
I have heard it described as a penguin guarding an egg and a galactic porpoise jumping over a hoop. Whichever way its described, it's gorgeous! It has the real
factor!
