I forgot to mention that we (or at least I) only correct German in the teaching threads. So when people are making mistakes on the "speaking thread" I only correct mistakes that seem to happen all the time. And of course when German non-native speakers put something in brackets like (sp?) after a word, then I'm correcting it as well.
The reason for not correcting everything is that it seems to keep people away from posting. Especially when German native speakers don't reply anything but a correction. That's kind of impolite.
