Everything You Never Wanted to Know About the Universe (And Were Afraid DG Would Tell You)
Dmitri Gheorgheni, Post Editor Posted Jun 4, 2007
It's been one thing after another between where I was and the computer.
Sorry to hear that. What's the problem?

I'll copy what I told Otus, I'm too tired to tell all again:
My project was the only one they disliked in every detail. On all the others they saw at least *some* good. Now they say even the concept is rubbish, while my teacher and another teacher loved it 2 months ago.
Suddenly my own teacher, who always said he likes my project, said that it is like the others say (bad) and he just didn't want to tell me because it is *my* project and he didn't want to interfere! What for is he teacher? I'm sure he was just too much of a coward to tell them that he quite likes it.
Well, and now it looks like I shall start all over again and get it done in 3 weeks. All the work of 3 months. I really don't know what to do.

Three weeks is impossible, if you ask me. I can't do any other exams then.
The teacher wants to see me tomorrow. Otus said I shall shout at him.
My eyes still hurt from crying... I was really shocked.

Yes, that's a bad shock.
I don't think you should shout at him. I think you should take up a LOT of his time with questions and asking for suggestions.
Make him work.

Oh, well... it is kind of *his* fault after all. Because he didn't say anything.
And suggestions... I shall find a new concept now. Start again.

This wasn't the one that started with one word, was it?

It was the one, yes. But he never asked about the words again after the first lesson.
My concept was having the parts of the building parallel to the old wine cellars. And today they suddenly said that's stupid because the cellars are underground and you can't see them. They could have thought of that 2 months earlier.

I also don't see a reason why not. But the three women today said it's stupid because the cellars can't be seen and so I shouldn't take them into my building.
So I had three 'stripes' like the cellars and then connected them with two a bit higher 'stripes', where I had the staircase, etc. And they said my building doesn't have anything to do with the stripes of the cellars because now my motive is knots!

Then make it knots.
Put knots *everywhere*, and say that the cellars affect what's above, because the present is built on the past.
And somewhere, put a sign on an archway, 'As above, so below'.
They'll eat it up.

Do you think Elektra will play AO any time soon? Else I'll send my newbie to the mainland. I have nothing to do on the island anymore.

Oh, don't wait for her. If she gets on, maybe I can send my newbie over.
I don't know what she's doing today.
I hope that guy has some good suggestions for you, taking up your time like that.
