Had a lovely kidney infection that's being treated by loads of antibiotics, which makes me

Also the desperate job-for-Mike-hunt is still going on, so I've got to keep working, even though I'm still sick...

... glad to hear that you're getting better now though.
Little of any excitement to report in my life, Hun ... although I did go to the winter meet which was just soooo exciting. Had a fantastic time and met god only knows how many people - more a case of putting faces to personas as I'd met pretty much all of them somewhere on here at some point or other!
Beyond that, this year has been pretty quiet ... gotta hot date tonight, rugby and rocking tomorrow and then more rocking on sunday ... Birthday next week and skiing for a week 2 weeks tomorrow - so quiet really 
Still up in Scotland inspite of best intentions to move down to London - all hangs on being paid more sadly which at the moment is vaguely unforthcoming. Talk of new this and new that but no talk of more money!
Sorry for being quite so kak at staying in touch - miss you on site Hun 
... Hope that all is well with you and Mike and will speak soon.

Me and Mike are fine. I want him to get a job, and he's decided that he can't get a job ever...
I'm not sure if I am still sick, I'm quite confused and worried (more sick days and I might lose my job) and life is.... well, being life, I guess.

Met very randomly at a party in january - she was looking bored and exasperated, I was stuck talking to someone who was about as forthcoming with his chat as a banana is with the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything ... got chatting took her number - got in touch and Robert, as they say, is your mothers brother ... it's early days it has to be said but it's cool ... she's an art student in Edinburgh - final year

As happy an Ekki as I could want to be at this particular moment in time ... off skiing for a week on saturday too which makes it all the better!
Don't feel like I'm doing you out of hot gossip by not telling all, hun, haven't told anybody ... parents wondering why I'm spending so much time in Edinburgh - let them wonder!

I've not recovered fully.
At the moment I'm sneezing like a sick 
and my head hurts and my keyboard swims. I'm on another set of antibiotics, stronger than the others, and I think I'm getting a flu (haven't had that in years). So all in all- fun.
It's ok that you don't tell, I don't feel left out, I completely understand - savour it as much as you can, and have a wonderful time. Don't break my Ekki, ok?

But the 
seems to like me. Main problem is that with all the medications and tests, we barely have money left for, well- anything. 
I'm so tired. Been up since 7 am (went to see ), and will stay up 'till 11pm. No, sorry- midnight.
