Long time since you've got some........smiley - loveblush?
Well, I KNEW what you meant...smiley - winkeye
Anyway, it's all into posture and hands.
Posture- standing up steadily, or sitting strait, so you can be abit leaned against. Very important, coz a smiley - hug should feel safe.
Hands- I like crossing, personally- one on the shoulder, one on waists and...smiley - smiley dropping...smiley - winkeye. But hands give the feeling to it- firm grip or just a light touch makes all the difference.
Then there's the time you dedicate to your smiley - hugs- I like'm long...
Work on your technique, boy!smiley - winkeye
smiley - hug

Nothing beats a good, long smiley - hug, especially if you're feeling smiley - blue ...

I like to think I'm a good smiley - huger ... proportioned suitably so that the smiley - hugee can get very involved and feel safe ...

It's never a good idea to grip too hard but once in while nothing beats a good squeeze ... as for the hug from behind, I find it one of the best and most smiley - loveblushing things ever ... they're simply the best.

You have to be very close to someone before you can sneak up and smiley - hug 'em from behind ... smiley - blush

Oh, yes... The smiley - hug from behind is great, though smiley - kiss challenging. I love it, too. It's good when the smiley - huged is washing dishes or something... And I totally agree about the squeeze. smiley - ok
We can really write an entry about that, I think... Now I must check if there's one up already or not. smiley - smiley
I'll get back to you on that.
Will you help me write it?smiley - cheerup

smiley - nur ... so want it to work!

That's fab ... couple of things though ... you can take the "s" of the end of waist as people generally only have one of them smiley - smiley

The other thing was, I thought we could leave the "meeting at the rear" and "dancing" hugs for the types of hug. Most hugs in the true comforting sense involve a lot of contact, whereas these, although intimate are less involved ... it's up to you though, just a thought!

Apart from that YAY!! smiley - ok

Ok, but I think the most common way of hugging someone is having both arms reaching from both sides of it, strait towards eachother, not diagonally... I think we should ask people about it...
And I've changed your term "Hugees" into "Huggers", coz hugees emphasizes the recieving, while huggers- the recieving, which seems more of the point about a hug anyway, at least to me... smiley - smiley
I must say I really enjoy working on this with you! smiley - smiley

Ek* this space intentionally left blank *ki

You know what ... I think you're right ... it's more common to go straight, rather than diagonal - not sure what I was thinking of!

The Male-2-Male hug is a diagonal thing but then I guess that can be handled seperately!

Still got nothing to do so am working out as many ways of hugging as I can!

smiley - hug 'n smiley - kiss

Um... well, we didn't make it into the Post by accident, hun, Shazz asked me if I want it there and I said yes...I'm starting a column there, so I've used the opportunity, you know...smiley - winkeye
I think the smiley - kissing entry is too technical, and quite undetailed- wanna start working again? smiley - biggrin We can make it so much better, I just know it! smiley - biggrin
Have you ever read the book I've recommended at the bottom of Hugs? It's wonderful! You must get a copy, if you don't own one.
And can I ask what's going on with you and QA? Is it another h2g2 couple in the making (like me and Mike), or just fooling around (like me and Inkwash)?smiley - winkeye

O I C ... I was wondering how Shazz had settled on our *brilliant* entry!

I have to admit to not reading the smiley - kissing article but in light of what you've said I'll zoom over there now and see what you mean!

I haven't read the book of hugs but I think I'm going to have to - how can I call myself an expert if I haven't read the literature! Another trip to Amazon i believe is required!

As for QA and me ... well who knows ... smiley - loveblush ...

smiley - run to smiley - kissing entry ...
