Yucky ol' passports

well - finally got that passport application signed again IN BLACK - now I just need to persuade the post office that it's all done in triplicate, and I'm in business!

Getting a passport renewed

My DoS (Director of Studies) is an idiot. He signed my passport application form in blue, despite it needing to be in black. *I* filled it in perfectly, but some people don't know how to read...
(if he's reading this, then I admit it was probably my fault for not pointing it out to him...

Car Insurance

So I phoned my insurance company and told them that I had moved my car from it's position in an army camp, pretty much in the country, with armed guards at the gate, to be parked in my college car park, and therefore I expected that the premium would go up...
It went DOWN by 10 pounds! I guess in Cambridge you can't crash cause you can never get above 10miles an hour in the city center...
