halloween

halloween was fun - saw everyone's cool costumes - went out to a goth night - my costume was just a clown's face mask - killer clowns seem a common enough theme
goth night was fun - though I felt severely underblacked. smiley - smiley Music was moderate - company was good - grabbed a kebab on the way back, and Rob smashed his broom to pieces.
Plus I got a spider out of it, which is now sewed onto my arty-jeans. Want to get another couple to go with it, though.

VGA Trek

Hmm.
Met somebody from Shrewsbury (my old school) yesterday.
They said they'd still been playing VGA Trek - gosh - it's now been three years since I left - and it slightly embarassed me - it's blatantly not a good game - full of bugs - yet people amazingly seemed to like it that way {cheats, they called it!}

I think the thing that people liked most was all the knooks and so forth - kind of like roguelike games - there's a 1000 and 1 things to try - and they all do different things - it's actually vaguelly well balanced for a game made by just one person - of course that's just my opinion. The problem is trying to fix those dang special items... smiley - winkeye

warning

Why don't they have this warning on the tin?

"Warning: accidentally sitting on plumberry glitter fabric before it has set will result in a sparkly purple streak down the back of your jeans. If this happens seek emergency treatment from your nearest fashion adviser"

Fortunately I worked it out in time, and vigorous application of water and soap got it all off in time. So the only problem is that my left buttock is cold... smiley - sadface
